And that's OK, there is no reason that KRQE shouldn't report upon APS success stories. But at the same time, KRQE knows
- there was a scandal in the leadership of APS Police force, link, and
- there is credible evidence that the scandal included felony criminal misconduct involving senior APS administrators, and
- the APS Police force is the only agency of law enforcement allowed to investigate the corruption in the APS Police force, and
- the findings of their self-investigation, and the findings of at least two other investigations, have not been produced for public inspection. KRQE's own request to inspect the records has not produced the ethically redacted truth, and that
- this is evidence of a cover up of a cover up of public corruption and incompetence.
They know this kind of information could turn an election in a completely different direction than the spin they offered.
Yet they steadfastly refuse to investigate and report upon credible evidence of a cover up of felony criminal misconduct by senior APS administrators.
And that, in my opinion, in manifestly biased.
